Why Get The Hump?

It's a classic colour and camel is huge this season. Coats and jackets, sweaters and blouses, its versatility means it'll work in every look. Wide leg camel trousers or silk blouse for the retro seventies look; camel trench or gloves for that feminine 50s glamour, camel cape or riding trousers for the country, outdoorsy look or in a tailored jacket or blouse for the military look.

All the major high street stores are focusing on it for the autumn/winter season this year and there's no reason why you can't be creative with camel colours, whatever your chosen look is.

  1. ive always liked the retro seventies look, and amazed that it has took this long for major high street stores to bring it back in. Another well written blog

  2. I love love love the nude shades...especially shoes. The shades are so easy to work with and I love to wear nude clothing with dark eye makeup x

  3. Thanks Dempsey. I'm loving the 70s look at the moment too as long as it's well executed - as an homage to the decade, using it as inspiration, rather than wearing over the top genuine 70s clothing.

I agree Kirsty, it's ridiculously versatile. You can keep it muted or add bold colours with accessories, it's definitely one of my favourites! x
